Servo-Robot's laser vision systems are used for weld inspection for all different industries. To improve visual weld quality, one must begin with determining the joining processes' capability to produce good welds day after day even with the inherent variability common in manufacturing plants. The laser vision system can help quantify what this variation is.  After improving the process as much as possible, the inspection system is then used to monitor the ongoing quality.  ARC-SCAN and LAS-SCAN are the laser vision systems used for visual weld inspection and measurement and they can determine if a part meets the customers’ quality requirements, how the process quality is trending and can also provide statistical data to help improve the process.
